Extremely slow download HELP

So I waited. An HOUR. For my PC to download the newest version (2.04) of BA. I have a relatively quick laptop (2.10 GHz dual core with 4G of ram) and what I thought was a relatively fast wireless internet connection (95 MB/s) . but it still took AN HOUR. The real jab was that at the very end, with ONE MINUTE to go, it got "interrupted" and so I have to start all over....
Can anyone help this poor excuse for a PC user download this patch, so that I can get on with my addiction?

It is probably not be your fault

It is likely it was just related to everyone trying to grab the patch at the same time and the server load being higher than normal. Please try again today and let us know how you get on.

So now whenever I click on the PC download link, my download bar says it downloads in an instant, but when I go to run it it just brings up the incomplete file that failed yesterday. Every time I try to click the link to download it does this and I can't figure out why or how to fix it. I've tried deleting some temp files but it's still not letting me download the thing.

You might need to flush your internet cache to force it to not keep giving you the broken file it has already downloaded.

What browser and OS are you using? They often have different ways of clearing specific types of files.

Again, just now, using firefox (instead of google chrome), I get midway through the 45-minute download and it tells me the "source file could not be read" - that the download could not be completed. Not that it's a major deal in the world, but I'd like to get my multiplayer games rolling again.....what am I doing wrong? is anyone else out there having similar issues??

I tried again with a wired connection this time - still slow, about 15 minutes into it I get the same error message:

........\Downloads\BattleAcademy-patch-2.0.4(1).exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

Thanks for the help, I'm about ready to give it up though.....

I finally figured it out. I saved it to my desktop instead of the downloads folder, using a wired connection, and it worked. I think there was an issue with that folder that I need to resolve. Thanks for all your help!
