Big thanks for these recent AARs

Thanks to Morris, Max and Diplomaticus for all your efforts to write such excellent AARs.

Having dabbled with an AAR in a different forum http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.p ... rte-please I know how much work these can be. While I've waited until the 2.1 installer is ready these AARs helped me to learn about all the new features so I won't be as rusty when I resume play. The Dev updates are helpful, but nothing like watching a game well played to really get a feel for all the great changes to the game.

To tell the truth, it is a lot of work. I've had so much trouble just getting my turns in to my patient opponents in reasonable time, I haven't had the time/energy to do an AAR really right. I really want to learn how to edit the screen shots so I can do some of the neat pointers and comments that the other guys do. Do you need special software for that?

Its rather fun to do as well. I dont have nearly as much time as i used to,but if i had i would do the same kind as the first AAr i did on my Amerika in Flames game with pictures and stories... If only i had time!

I'll probably do another one soon, i am thinking of doing a fortress Europa III, i am not satisfied, obviously, with my last game's results. I have a few tweaks that i want to try this time around.

Do you need special software for that?

Probably. My skills are nearly rudimentary and I get by using Microsoft Paint, but there are other freebie products that allow you to do pretty sophisticated presentations for your AAR. Perhaps someone can chime in with some ideas on free or inexpensive software.
