In general, in my opinion, all redux games are balanced in favor of the german side.
Taking Winter Village as example:
Initial points: 1500 to both sides
Allied get also for free:
- 1 engineer 45
- 2 scouts 2 x 42 = 84
- 1 M3 41
Total value 170
The german get also for free
- 2 Tigers 2 x 160 = 320
- 3 Marder 3 x 75 = 225
- 2 Stug G 2 x 105 = 105
Total value 755
So, in fact, the allied get 1500 + 170 = 1670
and the german 1500 + 755 = 2255
To deal with the Panthers and Tiger you need to have more units as no allied unit can have an equal duel with these tanks, so the logical would be that the allied has more points than the german.

This sounds like an error - I'm guessing Richard assumed the 1500 was used to pay for the Tigers, not as well as the Tigers. Will check and get back to you.

Re: Winter Village Balance
Interesting point Enric, And it's even tougher than you realise... Tiger's usually go for 210 each in BA 2.0.2, making 420 for the "free" pair... so the Germans start with 2,355 points of kit versus Allies on 1,670... I'm loving MP force selection but to take out a well organised team of the better German tanks (King Tigers, Tigers or Panthers) the Allies need access to several of artillery, stronger air support, AT guns (please
) or narrow spaces (streets or close forest) where rangers and engineers can safely move and hide... Even then, I've got a Panther's morale down to -20 and it just ran away and recovered, covered by infantry who prevented a coup de grace from my neighbouring scout... meanwhile, artillery bombardments from two Priests and a Calliope, straight down onto a King Tiger, only caused its morale to fall from 100 to 55... the sucker could still shoot anything I moved at it, which it killed to get its morale back up... Grrr!!

Re: Winter Village Balance
Well, I think in this scenario they are Tigers no Tigers II or King Tiger, so the cost is 160 in the 2.0.2Tiger's usually go for 210 each in BA 2.0.2

Re: Winter Village Balance
It looks like there was a mistaken few units left fixed when these were being balanced. We are going to rebuild and get a new beta version out across all the platforms tomorrow. Boooo - thought we were there
. Oh well!

Re: Winter Village Balance
Ah we found out the issue and it wasn't fixed as thought.
The editor is incorrectly showing units as Fixed/Not fixed. Fixed units are the ones you don't pay for and as a result units that were not supposed to be fixed were still fixed and we couldn't see them.
We think we've fixed them now but they need testing. Hoping to get an update out later today. The editor will also need to be fixed.
