Taking a Screenshot

Post by timberwolf15 »

Somebody posted somewhere on a forum about how to take a screenshot and mentioned 2 different programs one can do to accomplish this but of course the one post I don't slam into my favorites is the one I need. so ... uh... anybody know how to do a screenshot .... like during a battle or between turns ...

Thanks

Personally I use Greenshot, which is basically a tool for taking screenshots. So it has a lot of useful functions.

Some people use also a program called Irfanview:

And others, use the old technique of using PrtScn for copying the image to clipboard and then editing and saving it in Windows Paint.

Greenshot is great in my opinion ... just let it run in background hit the <PRINT SCRN> key when the mod hits you and whoola there it is - you can email it print it save it copy it . Just click LMB and drag a box to take a screenshot ...

How do you save it with a small enough file size to post in the forum? Even saving it as .gif, it says it is too big. I did it once a while ago but cannot remember how I got it to fit.

Using Paint.
