Hey Rambo, when the game goes gold, I'm hoping I can pit my Iconic status against your Legendary status
I think our play styles would mesh well. You think on your feet as do I. Keep it in mind eh.
Ain't many games out there I would even consider going toe to toe internet style against another person.

@Les The Sarge 9-1 --- Long time no smack, glad to see your alive & posting. How's life in Canada? I had my passport out for the scary American Homeland Security to visit Victoria on my cruise last month. You've probably got the early edge in this game, haven't you been play testing it? Anyhow.....rather dreary rainy day & it's Monday, work day. The end of Sopranos has me a little bummed
Time for a hot coffee.

We be both on the beta team Rambo
Been off your radar mainly because I have decided there is nothing to be gained over at BF for myself.
SC is history (I still like it) SC2 was a complete surprise let down (hence why I dropped off your radar). The SC Buntaland forum (Jersey's place) has been mostly VERY quite for some time now (at one point I thought I was talking to myself hehe).
This game though, has completely blown me away. Aside from that always ever present no stacking that seems to dog computer grand strategy lately, it has a lot of what I presumed would end up in SC2. All I think we got in SC2 was pretty unit counters, a map that's hard on the eyes (literally hard on the eyes, the grid gives me eye strain), and a nifty editor. But as I don't do the editor thing, the game was a major lunchbag let down.
When I encountered Commander, heck it was like cool sweet fresh air after several games I had wanted to like, that just didn't deliver. All I want is basic grand strategy, similar in experience to Third Reich. The interface is nice, the game is detailed, yet not a chore to actually run. That's what made SC a great gem of a game.
Ya know, I was actually amused back a while back to hear you were on the team
I think I actually might have recommended your name at one point. You're an aggressive gamer that is good at rooting out game gaffes.

Yeah, I was nominated as a tester, but real life has kept me away. Terif is king of SC, testing, strategies, etc.......I'm Top 5. In order to play SC2 w/o getting a headache, is having the max graphics settings on a good computer. Fas as CEAW, sounds like you like this product. I'm not big on editors, I'll leave that for the younger generation & history folks. I just like simple games to learn, with different strategies. Time will tell.......sounds like you've given a vote of confidence. Anyhow...back to my real job of firmware & testing.

That is nice to hear Les. Especially since I remember how sceptical you were on wargamer.com forum long time back, but that was before you had a chance to test the beta for real. I hope this game will be enjoyed for years to come. I would love to see some After action reports after game is released to see if games turned out as designed.
