Arty attatchment

Hi All ,
I can see the negative of a heavy gun attatchment to a medium battery ( slower movement ) but I can't find the positive . What am I paying the extra points for ?

as has been pointed out before on the forums, at present heavy gun attachments are a waste of 12 points. There is no advantage to attaching them to infantry or artillery. We might see a change in the future but we shall have to wait and see.

There is a thread - I pointed out (admitted) that a heavy artillery attachment is a waste of 2 points (unless that's all you get).
Consider it a case for 'future expansion'
