20 Game limit on Multiplayer and abandoned games

I hate to admit it,...but I'm addicted to BA. I know, I know,..I'm seeking counselling and may receive intervention in the very near future.

There's a 20 game limit to how many games you can have in progress in Multi-player mode.
However, when you have several games that have been potentially abandoned, you must wait 30 days to claim the game as abandoned, thus freeing up a slot to play someone else. You can't even surrender the "abandoned" game. So you can be stuck for a couple of weeks at the worst case scenario.

While I like the fact that you can't just dump games at will,...I have had 15 games be abandoned (over 3.5 weeks no activity), leaving 5 active games.
Is there some way around this predicament?

We may just reduce the limit to claim an abandoned game to 2 weeks. Would that have fixed it for you?

2 weeks sounds about right. Others can chime in if they feel differently.

The time limit to claim old games is already set to 14 days, server side. Can you please check from the game if you can claim those games?
