Game freezes.

The game plays ok for about 15 to 30 minutes then just freezes. Very hard to get it to shut down too. Very frustrating. Good game otherwise.

Sorry you are having problems. What you describe sounds like an out-of-memory situation. I have a few questions:
- Do you have any mods installed?
- How much RAM do you have?
- How much memory os taken up by Panzer Corps when it freezes (this is shown by the Task Manager)?

Hi thanks for your help.
I have 3G of Ram and no modes, usage form 6 to 15% at freeze.
You idea about memeory made me look and it showed what looked like audio problems.
Multi little FFD symbols on the bottom of my screen.
I turned off the music and have managed an hour with no problems so far!

Yes, indeed the reason for your issues is related with sound.
Take a look at the Audio/Video issues in the Troubleshooting thread:

Most probbly is related with a code pack which broke your Windows MCI. It happens a lot with the installation of codec packs such as K-Lite.
Some of the recent and older versnios seem to do it.
Version 7.7.7 worked fine and I've seen some users reporting that 8.0.0 also worked.

Ah you are right it started freezing after about an hour each time. Have installed a new K-lite and so far so good.
