Hi David ,

if I could choose I 'll play FOG even I really like DBM ( for all the good friends I met all around me ) but it's an unique opportunity to play FOG with the conceptors of the rules and with the extra presence of Hammy " the lybian " , Andy "hannibal " , tony "the makkan " the pleasure in gaming is guaranted I know them from Bellegem where we played great games some years ago ;
I can only wish you to have the same good time :D

thefrenchjester " the advisors are not wich pays ( the travel )"
ps :freely translated from a french expression " les conseilleurs ne sont pas les payeurs"

I´m sure that I will have a great time at Britcon , playing DBM or FoG.

My fellow traveller won the past year (15mm Medievals), and he want´s to defend his title.

It worries to me cross 2000 Kms to play tournament with 20 DBM players  .

I feel more competitive like DBM player, because I´m a novice in FoG, but if nobody will go to play DBM, I will be in the FoG tournament.

Somebody could say to me how many entries has had the last DBM tournaments in UK?

Thanks

David.

At this year's Britcon there will only be one DBM period (open 400 AP), there is also a FoG and DBMM tournament.

The BHGS Challenge in April had just under 60 DBM players. Britcon last year had about 100 15mm players.

I can understand people being unsure but if you enter for DBM or FoG you will definitely end up in a reasonable sized pool.

Britcon is a super event and well worth attending, the current decline of DBM complicates things but I hope that there will be a good showing in DBM and both the new Ancients periods.

Hope to see you there

I am sure there will be plenty of FoG games organised on Thursday and Friday, as well as much food and drink :)

Having checked the BHGS site it seems I am mistaken in there only being one period for 15mm DBM there are the usual 2. I have gotten the wrong end of a stick from somewhere.

See you at Britcon

Hammy
