Game does not start "Panzer Corps has topped working"

Hi,

I cannot start the game on my PC.
Installed it from CD, updated to 1.05 without issues and then after pressing Play I get system message "Panzer corps has stopped working" and that's all - it closes by itself after few seconds.

System: Windows 7 64bit ENG
Hardware: Core i7 960 , 6GB DDR3, Geforce GTX 560 Ti, System drive - OCZ vertex 3 SSD, Data drive - WD Caviar Black 3TB (both HDDs on SATA III)

Note - game runs fine on my laptop HP dv7-1150EW with also Windows 7 64 bit installed (Core2Duo P7350, 4GB DDR2, 320GB HDD, 9600M GT graphics card).

Tried also to run it in compatibility mode on PC but no luck.
Please advise if this can be fixed somehow or will be fixed or do I have to play only on my laptop?

The movies seem to be a problem for some people. You can try renaming the movies folder. VPaulus is the expert on that though and hopefully he'll be along soon.

Like Iain said, start by renaming "Video" folder to "_Video", and report back.

Hope I don't get any more issues on PC.
I've searched the forums first, found that K-Lite codec may be causing some problems but I don't have it installed, only Shark codecs. Any other codecs/drivers may be suspicious forcing the Video folder rename?

Yes, before the intro video, immediately after start.

Open the game installation folder and rename [i]Video[/i] as _Video.
Start the game and check if the issue persists.

I see you have Steam version.
Then please rename Expansion as _Expansion and check if the issue persists.
