Version 1.3.3 Installation Error: Access Denied Error

Hello everybody,

Sorry if this was posted already. I searched but failed to find anything related to this problem.

I just purchased FoG and downloaded field_of_glory_1.3.3.exe from the secure order form. I performed the following steps in order:
-executed the installer (field_of_glory_1.3.3.exe)
-entered the serial number provided by Slitherine
-agreed to the license agreement
-agreed to the default install location of:C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine\Field of Glory
-agreed to the shortcut folder: Slitherine\Field of Glory
-set to "make shortcuts available to all users"

As the installer begins to create uninstall executable, the following dialog box pops up:
Could not open the uninstall executable for writing:
Access to C:\Windows\Field of Glory\uninstall.exe was denied.
C:\Windows\Field of Glory\uninstall.exe

Pressing the "OK" button closes out of the installer.

My OS:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Service Pack 1
64-bit

Hardware:
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
RAM: 6.00 GB
HDD free: 250GB

I am currently logged in as Administrator. It's the only user account I have on my PC.

All,

I figured it out. I had to set the compatibility mode of the installer to Windows XP Service Pack 2.
