Ponyri

I know 43 has gone live, but after an extended illness, I finally finished Ponyri. Lt. Level, Standard Core, After upgrading three panthers, re arming and buying a Wespe and sIG 38t I had 1126 prestige to start, ending with DV in 17, with 181 prestige left.

For what it's worth, Very cool scenario, the power of the Panther really comes out. Awesome to see the Russian 152 sp gun, but the Panthers took it out in two turns. The North eastern city took a while to capture and was a good distraction. I basically crossed the river at three points and attacked east. After taking Ponyri, I moved south and completed the mission loosing only 1 recon. I think the experience level of my units is really starting to make a difference. I expected more dug in infantry in this one. They attacked me several times, but I was able to quickly counter with Pz. III N’s and infantry units. Fun but I thought it was easy compared to previous scenarios.
