Hi Guys,
is it possible, that you cant rename units from your core if you play a grand campaign? Alt+N doesnt seem to work. Ive bought GK39 and GK40 this far. Maybe its because of version 1.04? Are there any known problems with this issue?

Yes you can rename the units by using Alt+N in DLC.
Anyway, download and install 1.05

Ok, i installed 1.05 and it still wont work. Is there something sophisticated about it and im just too stupid? I do select a unit and simply press "alt" and "n" at the same time?
[edit says]: Ive checked all other shortcuts and they seem to function as intended. If i press "n" the next unit is selected. If i press "alt" + "e" the turn ends etc. but if i select a unit and press "alt" + "n" nothing happens at all.

Re: renaming units in grand campaign
There isn't something more sophisticated nor I think you're stupid.
I've just checked with DLC39 and it's working, and if there was such an issue with DLC, I'm sure we already knew about it.
So it seems that if you press Alt+N, is just like if you were pressing N (which moves to the next unit). ALT+E seems to be working, because you said you'll go to the end of turn.
I don't have a clue.
I can suggest two things:
First I would launch Windows in safe mode and would try to run the game and see if the issue occurs.
The other suggestion is the trivial, uninstall all the DLCs and the game, and freshly install them, again in this order:
- Panzer Corps 1.0
- DLC 39 and 40
- Update 1.05
- Other DLCs in case you have them.

Re: renaming units in grand campaign
Ok, bummer. Ive deleted all Install *.exe. Where can i download them again? Ive registred all three, PC and both DLCs.
[edit says]: Ok, ive found the problem. I kind of thought it might be such a thing. Another program running (my internet software to be precise) seems to "override" the alt + n command. When i close it, it works. I would like to know where i can get the Install file if necessary anyhow.
Thanks for your time.

Re: renaming units in grand campaign
If you don't have a backup of the original installers, I'm afraid you'll have to mail to info@slitherine.co.uk with your order details, and they will provide new links for download.
The office is closed during weekend, so only Monday.
Unfortunately it's not yet implemented the possibility of downloading directly from your page.
Sorry for this inconvenience.
