Army points size 25mms

Post by nigelemsen »

Only done one read through, but a recommended pts size didn't jumped out. Am I correct for 6x4 board with 25mms the usual 650pt army?

Unlike FOGA we recommend that 25mm games are played on an 8x5 table using the same points (page 20). This could cause a problem with competition organisers, and I suspect that from a competition point of view, they will be played in 6x4's at 650pts. although 8x4 at 8000pts will be feasible since although an MU for 25mm figures is 1.5 inches, the deployment zone is measured from the centre rather than from the edge.

8000 points would be quite an impressive sight. i should imagine a number of wargamers willl succumb to heart attacks carrying that many figures though... :)
