Unable to connect to server

I'm getting the following error trying to connect to the server:

Categorised as: Network connection error (Code -1)
State: Log In
Response Type: Page Received
HTTP Status: 404
Time: 2012-03-07 06:28:18
Content: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">?<html><head>?<title>404 Not Found</title>?</head><body>?<h1>Not Found</h1>?<p>The requested URL /PBEM/auth.php was not found on this server.</p>?<p>Additionally, a 404 Not Found?error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.</p>?<hr>?<address>Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at http://www.slitherine.com Port 80</address>?</body></html>?

No problem with the network in general or connecting to the forums.

The whole forums were down for some hours and had to revert to an earlier state, dozens of posts were lost. I would imagine there was some sort of problem with the servers Slitherine was using, which caused a bunch of stuff. Hopefully turns made in the MP haven't been reverted too.
