FoGN at NiCon in NZ

Post by BrettPT »

Hi there

In addition to a Demo tournament at NatCon, we'll be runnning a 15mm FoGN competition at New Zealand's NiCon tournament in Auckland on Queen's Birthday weekend, 3-4 June 2012. I understand that numbers will be limited due to space at the venue so early registration may be a good idea for anyone interested.

· 4 Rounds
· 800 points
· Lists should either be based on the generic lists in the rules or around a historic formation.
· Unfortunately the Army List Books will not be released until after the convention. Players basing their army around historic formations should therefore contact the umpire well in advance, advising their proposed nationality and date, to discuss appropriate troop grading and mix.
· The draw will be swiss chess - slightly weighted so that players play others outside of their club and battles are French v Allies where practicable.
· Scoring as per the Competition Scoring in the rules.

Ideally figures should be on FoGN 15mm base sizes (40mm x 30mm for infantry, cavalry and most artillery) however sabot movement trays for units in tactical formation can be used if your figures are incorrectly based.

Information on how to register can be found at the City Guard's website http://www.cityguard.co.nz/forum/index. ... 753.0.html

Regards
Brett
