availability of matrix games through your website

Post by berend »

What determines whether matrix' games are available through your store? I once picked up war in the east at slitherine's, and it was substantially cheaper there as compared to over at matrix. I assume it must have been due to the fact that slitherine operates from the EU. Recently I'am contemplating purchasing CO:BFTB, and I found it quite expensive with the VAT hit at matrix. Any chance that more games from the matrix stables will be made available through slitherine (in addition to the ones already featured)?

Thanks in advance. :D

We judge each game on its merits and decide which stores sites they fit with best. Some games suit one or the other and some suit both. There is also a time factor. There are a number of Matrix games we want to bring across but haven't had time to do yet. However pricing should always be the same across both sites. The only difference i can think of is an error or a currency conversion issue. We use the same VAT rules as it is the customers location and the payment collector (Plimus) that determines any tax, not our location.

Thank you for the quick reply and the insight into your marketing policies. I also noticed that matrix is now offering more european friendly payment options, one of the reasons I used to prefer slitherine over matrix. Anyway, it shouldn't matter anymore since both of you have merged.

Regards,

Berend.
