Hey !
I've just got the game, plus SOA pack. I've been reading the rules (thought I seem to have an affinity for forgetting the POA advantages), watched some AARs, played a couple scenarios. I'm okay against the AI, but I'd like to try some multiplayer and get better. It'd be really helpful if I could get a couple of games with some advice or at least an opponent that points out the mistakes I make, I can easily try to improve then.
Thank you for the help, and if anyone is up for a 400 points patience battle, just tell me ^_^

While I'm hardly a veteran myself, I might be able to teach you something. I've made a game where I have the "Condotta - Florence" army, at 400 points. Password is "Sharkall"
I made my army to be varied and interesting, so you can try all kinds of stuff, and I'll be sure to give out tips. Other than that, I'll be playing fairly normally. While we play, we can talk if you need more help on some specific area of the game.

I also am fairly new or so you would think because of my record!!!
If you have the Eternal book I have a little 500 pt army that doesn't utilise a lot of heavy hitters and you won't have to chase Horse archers all around. It is really good for testing your skills at manuvering at close quarters AND moving around at a distance.
I can't take credit for it, a vet played me with it and REALLY showed me that you don't HAVE to 'load up' to be competitive.
OR since you have SOA, I have another 500 point army that we can play with that will give you a different perspective. With 500 points you can afford your extra commander if you like to be in command all the time. PM me if you want and I will set it up. GrudgeBringer

After an awesome first game (defeated obviously but learned a lot of good stuff), I've just started my second one. Hope I get more than 20 points this time
I'm still not confident in my abilities (and grasp of all the mechanics) to provide a good challenge on *real* multiplayer games, so I'd be happy if anyone not afraid of winning will play a SoA match. Afraid of getting trashed
If anyone has a specific lesson to teach (as in I'm playing that, try to deal with it) it would be awesome, otherwise I'll just make a couple of games tomorrow, with the password 'sharkall'.
Thanks a lot for the support, the people here are very nice
I think I'll stick to this game

Hi Sharkall,
Welcome to the arena
I would recommend you to read the FOG wiki. It's probably the best guide for the game.
