Music

Post by SpaceApe »

Hello folks,

I wasn't sure where to post this particular query, and I didn't turn up anything searching for the topic (though if you do, please correct me!).

Is it possible to have custom music play as part of the game loop? I saw a folder for sound effects which, theoretically, could be modified by copying/re-naming different sound files--but no music files... ?

I have a great collection of classical, orchestra, and some other tasty battle tunes that would go great with FoG.

Just wondering!

Rename the file in the sounds directory called start-menu.mp3. Call it $start-menu.mp3 or something. Then drop an mp3 file for your choice into the directory and rename it start-menu.mp3. I've done it, works perfectly. I replaced the originl score with Stravinsky's Rite of Spring ;-) (not a huge change)

Sir, I am in your debt! Thank you very much. It would be sweet of there was a way to have the game cycle through music, but a change of pace will certainly do in the meantime.

You are the man.
