Red/White Dot Visibility

Post by unicorn77 »

When there is a unit in a hex, I'm finding it difficult to see the refuel dot aid. With tanks in the hex it's completely invisible. Is there any way round this, or could it be addressed?

It's quite annoying when my plane has ammo left and there is a unit on the edge of the red/white border that could usefully be hit on the way home, if only the hex was "white". I suppose it's a question of counting hexes.....

Usually you can move even into a red dot hex if it is adjacent to an white one. There is a safety margin of one hex marked as red even if it is in range of an airfield ZOC. You must be careful when you return though as sometimes there is only one hex you can reach next to an airfield and this could be already occupied by another plane.

Yes I also have the same difficulty, perhaps could be added an option to hide units in tactical map ( as it's possible in the strategic map)?

Thanks for the tip about the safety margin - I did not know that!
