And yet more Swedes!!

Post by petedalby »

My Swedes were very kindly featured by Tim Porter recently in one of his After Action Reports. The Finns featured heavily due to their sterling performance but my other BGs have demanded some publicity too so here they are – hope you like them.

And guess what? All the figures are from Testudo! :)

Very nice. One day I must work out how to load photo's so I can show off the professional paint job I had done on my Testudo Dragoons, as Swedes, New Model, and Imperialist/Catholic League.

Hammy's original link is the one I follow - and if I can do it, it must be easy!

I've never thought of doing the pike shafts different colours. Makes sense & looks good. Maybe I should have another go at my English Longbowmen bows.

You are very kind - thank you. The detail and definition of the figures makes them really easy to paint - especially with washes and highlights.

Thanks - it does take a bit longer but I think it's worth it. I've done the same with my HYW English longbowmen. When I get some time I'll post a photo - again I think the effect is quite good.
