Initiative sequencing

Post by CrimsonStorm »

I received a +3 initiative hero on a tac bomber the other day...and have just realised how pointless he is :(

My initiative is 2...my hero makes it 5...and then because I am bombing it becomes 0! :(

Surely the hero should get added on after the cap? I mean the hero should advise better avenues of attack, use the clouds and sun better to mask the approach shouldn't he?

Now I realise he would help vs fighters..but thats why I have fighters of my own.

I wonder how it would go against AA? Might be an effective AA position neutraliser.

That was kind of what I was hoping for when I saw the +3 init

As is now I'm actually tempted to disband him and hire a fresh TB. It wont take too long to get the kills and exp up.

Initiative is useless when using a Tactical Bomber against ground units, even AA.
The ground unit will always get 100 Initiative from the Air vs Ground rule.

The only solution I see here is to upgrade to a Bf 110 model so you can have some advantage attacking other air units.
