Bomber bug?

Post by manticore »

Hello,

Does anyone sometimes have their bombers shoot blank? I'm not talking about it shooting, and not hitting anything, but those instances, where the bomb doesn't even make the shooting sound, and the whole animation sequence is quickly passed over? I don't think I've had the same thing happen with fighters, but bombers only.

Yes, it has happened.

Load up the real sound Mod and you will be excited.

Yep, happens a lot when the bomber does no damage (not even suppression). Very annoying because you think it's a bug.

On a side note, when I'm playing music videos on youtube it sometimes happens that the attacking/shooting sound of my tanks (and only those) doesn't play. This is absolutely not a bug in PzC but something that happens on my system configuration (Vista :() but when I close my browser the sounds do play.
So if you have any issues with sounds playing be sure to shut down any other applications that use the soundcard.

Is this due to a sound file missing?
