Woohoo! Glad to hear it, JD. Now, how about a nice little demo tournament to whet the appetite of your potential US market?

A Historicon demo sounds grand. Beer and vittles sounds grand, too.

What?s exactly the difference?

Glad to hear that. Will the exhibitions start to spread through other countries? I?m sure Robert the Bruce and Endakil can inform you about the next main dates of spanish tournaments concerning historical wargames. Is it in your schedule?

We are hre happy top help local organisers run beta tournaments, participants will still however need to sign an NDA unless they are existing Beta testers

I will be attending Historicon this year, and hauling along my 25mm First Crusaders. I am fortunate enough to have been selected as a beta tester, and received my copy today. Will be reading this weekend, and pushing lead (solo) this week. I plan on having a playtest game completed in a couple of weeks.

I assume I can enter my feedback in the beta forum. At first blush, I am tremendously impressed with the concepts, clarity, and the, 'yeah, that makes total sense!' factor! I am trying to find some constructive criticism to give back, but, at this point, it looks like a finished product. My goal is to push some lead around in the next week, and get a feel for the mechanics and how they translate from paper to table. But, geez, good job on this........

When could applicants expect to hear whether we've made the cut to become testers, or does the fact that I haven't yet heard mean that I didn't make it?

Dave

You need to get added to the Beta group. Either send an E-Mail or a forum personal message to JD to prompt him to add you.

beta test feedback

Post by thefrenchjester »

Hi ,

Ian is on holidays ( I know all , I see all  ) we'll have the user special granted access on his return (thanks , JD )
we only have to send a message (yes I 've done it ! :) )

I recently received the last beta test version , after some reading , I can say that now I'll play only FOG as soon as possible , the rules are clear and fun , really attractive army lists = many hours of painting in preview :) I wish to all of the beta testers good games.

regards

The potential US audience is clamoring for a demo event (or something!). Give us a little taste.

Marc;

If you are going to Historicon this year, maybe we could hook up and give it a spin. Looks great, btw.

I'm in KC, where are you located?

I am in Michigan, and yes, I will be at Historicon. I'd love to get a shot at FoG. As July nears let's keep in touch and try to set something up.
