Splash Screen

The thing that gets me about the splash screen, is it seems to unintelligent and out of date. Every time my game starts up it suggests a link to download for the latest beta, despite it's clearly the same version that I'm running. I also get an add for Operation Market Garden, despite I clearly have that already installed as well.

I'm not sure we could come up with a way to make it personal for every permutation. Having it more intelligent would be good - but I guess the key thing is that we don't tend to update it as much as we ideally would like. The BA splash is one of the few where we don't have cycling general info (e.g. review scores of other games etc).

I will add giving the system more intelligence, especially wrt updates and versions, to my task list. I want to refresh the look and feel anyway - it's just finding the time .
