Game turns off the PSP totally during computer turn :(

Hello, if anyone could help me or at least give hint then please do as im desperate... Playing Europe at War on PSP and all went perfectly well until Sep 44. Then when I hit next turn, the convoy popup box appeared as normal and disappeared, but then instead of moving convoy ships, the waiting hourglass just froze and after around 6 sec the PSP just switched off totally. The effect persists no matter how many times I reload the save... Any ideas what could this be or how to work this around? Spent a lot of time on this session and would REALLY want to make it to the end =/

Hi Piotr

Sorry you are having problems. What side are you playing as and which scenario?

There was a bug at one point where running out of oil could cause this issue but it was fixed, so it depends which version of the game you have. Avoiding running out of oil will stop the issue occuring.

Other thigns to try and loading up a save from slightly earlier and trying different things to see if that helps. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help as the developer no longer exists and it's not possible to do more patches.

I know it is very frustrating and this isn't a perfect solution but I'm not sure there is much else we can do to help unfortunately

I played the Axis side and 1939 scenario, without oil. Had three saves (auto, beginning of turn and end of turns) - none of them could make past the computer turn. Finally, I took a save around 6 months earlier and this time all went perfectly ok - so I guess the issue was some weird one-time oddity...
