gifting a downloaded version

i am a little frustrated and having a headache from trying to fig out how to gift battle academy to a friend through download only. i mean its 2012 right? should that not work somehow?

this has been on our wish list with Plimus for over a year but unfortunately at the moment there is no way to do this. The only option is for you to buy it and then send the order confirmation to them so they can download. This is not ideal though as they would need to get the e-mail address for the purchase updated by you if they ever wanted to download again later so its a pain.

We know its an issue but at the moment can't do anything about it

Currently boxed copies are much better for gifting as you can just change the delivery address.
