First impressions

I was excited to see that the Balkans and Crete were included in the 41’ DLC. I started off on Lt. Level and did quite well and the prestige level felt right, although I lost quite a few units and prestige dropped to zero in Crete. Still, I think the difficulty is about right. I have re armed and will take a shot at Minsk next, but I will probably have a rough go at it. The prestige level therefore was a little low for me, but I’m a bit of a novice.

I liked the game; the AI seemed very engaging and would attack week spots in my line when I wasn’t careful enough. There were times when AI infantry would attack, and then after arty would fire after, but overall it performs remarkably well.

The objectives were very clear and the briefings and extra instructions were really cool. My units gained experience as well as could be expected for my playing ability, so any caps were unnoticed. I got to three and some four stars easy. I enjoyed all the missions and look forward to Minsk.

I did notice one little bug. Once while playing the AI play stopped all together until I moved my mouse and then it started again. Don’t know what that was… On to Minsk.
