Break offs

Post by chrisrivers13 »

I had a wierd thing happen. I had an enemy cavalry unit on my steady pike. The cavalry was facing one hexside to the left of straight up on the map. My pike was on its side. The cavalry then proceeds to break off directly to its own rear into a rear charge position! I would think that they would break off directly away from the enemy, not across it's face and into a rear charge position.

Breakoff moves are much better than they used to be. But you still see some odd things from time to time.

I wish we could apply break-offs to LF in contact with HF and MF. At the moment they just stay to duke it out until the inevitable rout.
