You will have to post some more info, before we can help.

What scenario, where in the scenario, is the crash repeatable?

And add some technical details about your software and hardware:
Welcome to the Panzer Corps Tech Support forum.

If you are having an issue with the game then first let us apologise. Be assured we'll do all we can to get you up and running. Please try and follow these posting guidelines to enable us to most quickly solve it.

* Always start a new thread for a new issue
* Please include the version and build information seen in the middle at the bottom of the main menu screen.
* Provide details of your machine (operating system, CPU, video card) - sending the DirectX diagnostics as explained below handles all this for you.
* What problems do you see. E.g. which screen you are looking at, which buttons did you press to repeat the problem. How does the game go wrong.
* A Directx Dialog file - see below for instructions on how to generate a Directx Dialog file.
* The log file written by the game. It is located in %My Documents%\My Games\Panzer Corps\Log\log.txt

How to get a Directx Dialog file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. open the text file, copy the contents, and post along with your issue.

Without information, we have no clue what the problem might be, let alone help you out. ;-)

Thanks lordzimoa, but we know moneyiem's system from another thread.

First I want you to understand that there are some limits in what we can do to help you in this situation. The greatest limit is the fact that we're not physically near your computer so we can't do certain tests that demand more tech approach.
The fact that a game or any other program crashes can be multiple, and it's system related in most of the times. If it wasn't, than none of us could be running that program. It happens that a small minority has issues in their systems, and most of the times without even knowing it.

Regarding Panzer Corps (PzC) the biggest issue that people seems to have is the one you reported back, when moving an unit the game crashes. This only happened to a very small, small minority of players. This occurs in systems whose Windows MCI (Media Control Interface) is broken. The reason why this happens with PzC and not with other software, is that PzC uses MCI to play video and sound. Most of the other software uses a different API to play those files like DirectShow for example. The issue is not in the application, the program, or PzC (in this case) that uses the MCI, but in the fact that MCI is not working well in their system, it's broken.
How does this happens? Usually through the installation of a codec pack or a third party software that messes with codecs/filters.
In your case this was most probably caused with the installation of K-lite.
Since you've installed the new version of K-lite, it seems that at least you're able to play it, only now, it seems that the crash is sporadically.
So the problem might not be related with it or maybe it's still there. In that case you've a deeper system conflict, and there is not much we can suggest more.
But there might be another reason, and this crash might not be related with the previous. I've work more than 20 years in supporting/maintenance PC system, to know that this occurs very often.
So I'll need to ask you some question. Please answer them as clear as possible.

1- How many times have this happened after installing the new code pack? Is there any error pattern that you can identify?
2- Is it always with the same unit?
3- Did you played ore than one scenario without exiting to Windows? How many?
4- Are you using any mods or just playing vanilla PzC?
5- Did it crashed into the desktop? Any error message after?

Please don't open more threads, it will be more easy for us to help.

1-Until now this happened for 2 times since i get the new K-lite 7.9.0 yesterday.
2-it happens to any unit,1st time with an anti-air unit, second time with a tank(when moving unit)
3-This noon i played 3 campaigns without exiting Windows
4-I just playing vanilla Pz(i hate mods acttually)
5-No the game just stuns and stops there,it doesn;t crash to desktop. And no error message

In my opinion,my game version is too old?should i up to v 1.20 or 1.40 or something?Thnks for bearing with me until now Paulus,i appreciate!

The next time this occur please try to ALT+TAB to windows.
Then press CTRL+ALT+Delete for Windows Task Manager.
In Windows Task Manager, choose the Performance tab and write down "Physical Memory Settings (K)" and the "Commit Charge:".

Choose Processes tab. And in the list find PanzerCops.exe and write down the "Mem Usage" value

This, of course, as long as it was only the game that crashed and not the entire Windows.
Please, report those values in this thread.

And you should always update to the game last version.

There's not much I can suggest.

But first, you should unistall and install the game again. After install update to the last version (1.04).
If the game persists in crashing, you can try instead of playing several games, one after another, to exit to windows each time you finish one scenario and rerun the game and continue to the next scenario.
Report back, and see how things progress.

Please remember, that the game saves once in each turn, so you just have to download the last autosave.

Well,i've just reinstalled the game yesterday,Paulus and i'm working on those campaigns at present as well, not scenarios
Can i just save the game when each campaign start?(i mean at the place units phrase),and then exit the game and load it back
And an amazing thing is there's no crashes when i played 2 campaigns continously just now
do you believe that when PC running many programes could make the game crashes(cause lagging)??

Yes, of course. You can save whenever you want. I too like always to save in the deployment (place) phase.
You can load it back.

It can something stressing your memory or your system, although, from the values you've given, I didn't conclude that.
Windows sometimes is running many tasks in the background, and one might be in conflict with the game.
But if by playing only one or two scenarios, and then exiting and rerunning the game again, works without crashing, I'd say that while not being an ideal situation, is something that you can "live" with.

May i ask Paulus,what's the best(appropriate)version of K-lite for the game?is the newest 7.9.0?
Secondly, what the Custom...section in game for?(I wish we have "Skirmish" option for the game,is that possible in the future?)

It seems that the game works well with 7.7.5 and above versions. 7.9.0 version was able to solve most problems.
To be honest I don't think that will change much if you change to 7.7.5.

To the second part of your question post it in the main section. Here will be unnoticed.
