Nicely done.

How many points is that? I know it depends on how you rate the legion, but just out of interest, what have you built it as?

I didn't mean to ignore your question. I missed the fact that posts had been made and only saw the question by accident.

I don't build to a points value but to provide flexibility for campaign or scenario play.

But assuming that legions I and II are veteran (colour coded for my eyes with red tunics - the other legions are in white tunics), all principes and hastati with armour, protected veliates Italian MF* are average, cavalry with armour, and 4 X TC, the point total is 1022 points incl fortified camp. On the other hand, instead of max upgrades one went with poor legions, protected armour, etc., the point total is 794.

* The HF Italian BG isn't allowed with the MRR list so I haven't included it in the points total. It's been built as a BG for the Carthaginian list, but I put it in the photo because it looks good and it could be the basis for an ersatz (allied) 6th legion if needed or to substitute for as a Thureophoroi HF BG.

Fair enough. I usually build to an 'army list' and then add units later.

THanks for the reply.
