Invisible Light Foot in a Vineyard
LF in a Vineyard cannot be seen by other troops unless within four inches. If said LF have bow (and are outside four inches) then this means they can fire (at extreme range) without the opponent returning fire. Seems a bit silly?

The current rules 5.01 say you can only shoot if two lines can be drawn from the front corners of the shooter to any point on the target without passing through:
To avoid all strange effects it would be necessary to allow either of these options depending on the circumstances, but the need to define the circumstances would probably lead to more complication than it is worth.
By the way, does the "any point" need to be the same point for both of the lines to the front corners?
I note that the actual rule says "a line from both its front corners to any point..." which strictly implies only a single line passing through both front corners and a point on the target. This would be impossible in most cases, but luckily the line does not have to be straight.....
I think what you meant was:
To prohibit invisible shooting change (i.e. clarify) it to:Terrain that would block line of sight.
...
To allow invisible troops to shoot but give their position away change it to:Terrain that would block line of sight in either direction.
Terrain that would block line of sight unless the target is itself shooting.

I think what you meant was:
A base can shoot only if it is possible to draw straight lines from each of its front corners to the target battle group without passing through...
