New Beta 3 saved games in transition to 40

I don't know if it's just me or my computer; have had no problems with all beats & 1.01, but last nite played thru 39 campaign and it stopped at Narvik??? (saw thread about this) fiddled with an old senario, then thought before bed, I'll start 40 & then pick up in morning(found out it will let one your bring core from 39 forward.). Did, but when went to load this moring, wouldn't!!! Logged off, restarted my computer, reloaded game again & tried again, but no-go. So, had to start 40 over; tried re-play turn over again,by loading at start from last auto save, again no-go. I don't know if there's a link missing from 39 to 40 campaign or what, but this is pecular since when loading all indications said all was good.

Anyone else find this???

First inpression game seems a little more balanced; not so much extreme combat results, but still enough to be a pain; still infantry attacking tanks in open/clear terrain & winning or drawing; ambushes not really ambushes when the unit being ambushed wins combat.
