OT: Steve Jobs - RIP

Post by VPaulus »

I've never own any of his products. But I know that the computers wouldn't be what are today without his vision.
A man with a indomitable spirit.
The world today seems to be smaller without him.
May he rest in piece.

Mourn in the streets, mourn in your apartment, do whatever you want, but this forum is not an appropriate venue for showcasing your Apple fanboy pedigree. Let's keep to discussions about PC. Thank you very much.

I've never been one for tributes and public sentiment, but even I can see that that's too harsh.

He started a separate thread to mourn one of the greatest computer geeks of all time. Let them mourn if they want to.

I wouldn't call it harsh... I would call it something different.

I just opened the thread, because I know that some people usually like to say a word of appreciation in these situations. For good or for worst Steve Jobs changed the computer industry. Every forum I went, had a thread about his death. No big deal.

Personally, I've never had any Apple product. The only Apple computer that I have loved to work with was the Apple II. My real pedigree is this General Electric terminal. And I mean it.
