How to get other scenarios?
I see people playing scenarios on MP that I can't find, like Bocage Breakout and Battle of the Bzura. Where do I go to download these?

Grab the 20 files (each map has 2 files, a pzscn file and a pzloc file) listed by Xerkis.
These can be found where you installed Panzer Corps here:
Panzer Corps\Data
Copy and paste those 20 files into here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Scenario
This is for Windows XP, just as a note.

Xerkis makes a good point; it's best to play the MP maps in Hotseat Mode since the AI isn't optimized for SP. You'll be playing against yourself, but it should still give you a good idea of the map layout and strategies to use.Xerkis wrote:Sure – see Kerensky’s post just above.
Keep in mind (and I’m surprised that Kerensky didn’t mention it) these were made to be played in MP. In other words playing solo against AI might not be so good - althoug I never tried it yet.

Playing multi maps against the AI is somewhat of a strange experience, but still loads of fun!
I even created shortcuts to quickly switch between these two directories (i.e. one shortcut in Data leading to My Docs...Scenario; and another shortcut in My Docs...Scenario leading to Data).
One final piece of advice on the road: most multi player maps are designed with expansion in mind - from both sides. But any scenario have one attacking side and one defending side. There's no way to set both sides to "attacking".
So when playing against the AI, you have a 50% chance/risk of getting a very strange experience where the enemy doesn't advance much if at all, just massing units around the victory hexes it starts with.
For instance, in Hylan Valley, play the Germans. In Urban Assault, choose Allies. That way, the computer will be attacking and you will get the experience you would expect.
(To play, say, Hylan using the Brits your best bet is loading the copy in \Scenario into the scenario designer, open Preferences... and change the Attacker setting to the Germans.)
To understand what's happening, consider that a "regular" Hylan Valley scenario would have the Germans in command of most of the map. This the AI in "defensive mode" is designed to do. It can't race to meet you in the middle. So I guess you could place a German infantry garrison in each white flag hex (in the editor), and that would kind-of work too...

Killing a thousand strength points, that is.
Depends on what you mean by "a normal game". During the campaign I don't see it as impossible. For a single scenario, not so possible...
I guess playing against a Soviet union that only buys 15-strength conscripts that your tanks can one-shot would do it though!
Still, you would need a custom scenario that lasts for a hundred turns or so since 1000/15 is 67 and you need extra rounds for reloading ammo as well.

Re: How to get other scenarios?
When I tried to log-in to the multiplayer, it tells me that my login and password are incorrect. Shouldn't they be the same as my login and the password for the forum?
Is there a way to reset the password for the multiplayer?
I also wanted to have look at those multiplayer scenarios before issuing a challenge. I've found them in the "DATA" folder but it seems that I don't have the "SCENARIO" folder. Where should I copy those scenrios to be able to see them without loging in to the multiplayer?
