Hello Supervark. I tend to invite players who can play comfortably in Division A or Division B of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (LOEG), so at the moment I think you might find it very hard as you have only just started playing FOG. Just to give an example, I have been playing for a year now and I will be very pleased if can I manage to sneak into third place in the current tournament, to be quite honest. It is more likely that I will come fourth or fifth. The current group of players is very strong - hidde is one of the best players of FOG (maybe he is number 3 or 4 overall) and he has kindly agreed to be the Granadines as they are the weakest Iberian army in the lists. Triarius came second in Division A of LOEG for "Storm of Arrows" last time and he has just given me a severe battering in our game (the final scoreline flatters me somewhat

) and Batesmotel is another very fine player indeed. Myself, TGM and RussProv are at a similar level to each other, solid B or B+ players in LOEG terms, if you see what I mean.
So what I would say is - get some more experience in LOEG and the other competitions that are being held regularly and see how you get on. And challenge some of the players that I have mentioned in friendly games so that you can get a handle on how good they are (bloody good is the answer

). I will be holding a medieval event quarterly (-ish), so the next one will start January/February and the one after that in the spring.
In the meantime I shall be putting you down for a good few games in the finals of NAFF, which will be starting in 3-4 weeks time. I hope that is OK, Supervark.
