Army Builder

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this question, but it did not seem to fit anywhere else.

With the army Builder I sometimes get a S in the troop name column. Hovering over this changes the troop type, but I cannot see how to make this permenant. As soon as I move the mouse, the troop type reverts back.

Can anyone help please?

The change is made in deployment i.e. after you have started the game.
By right clicking on a BG you can change it (and back if you change your mind).
After deployment you're stuck with your choice.
