Test for dead generals

If a BG routs as a result of impact or melee and the general was killed during impact or melee it causes an extra minus to CMT. OK with that. The rules state that those BG that have already tested for seeing rout or generals killed during a phase need not test again.

So, if a general is then killed during initial rout in that same phase any BG that tested for the rout does then not have to test when the general is killed, even though they have not tested or been given a minus for it.

Is this correct?
