New Model Army

Post by johngl »

This army doesn't seem to have much going for it - no commanded shot is a big minus, and I've been trying to put a good-looking list together without much success. With only a couple of Superior units, it's hard to get more than 12-13 BGs at 800 points and then it looks like a pretty vanilla army. Has anyone had success with Fairfax's lads?

.......... Well there is the problem !!! You need Cromwell's lads!!

It has good horse and decent foot. It is a basic army .... maybe a little boring to use. Mine has done well against in-period opponents; Covenanters and Late Royalists.
