I didn't report every scenery as the excellent (and mad ... ) diary of Horseman, but reported only some AAR posted in this forum.My campain (Level 3 - Colonel):
Poland decisive
Norway decisive
Low Countries decisive
France* decisive
Sea Lion 40 decisive
Barbarossa decisive ---> Kiev choosen (more scenarios to train core units)
Kiev decisive
Moscow 41 marginal
Stalingrad decisive (This was the hardest scenario, a run through the russian steppe)
Kursk decisive
Moscow 43 decisive
USA East Coast marginal (very hard the initial landing, I played it two times, the first was a slaughter)
USA Mid West decisive
USA West Coast marginal
I will re-play the last one because I want a decisive and missed it only for one turn sigh!
In general the most difficult for me were Stalingrad, the landing in USA East coast and the last one ... these yankees are tough!
I read somewhere that finishing the campaign in Field Marshall level will bring a surprise so I'll try it . Unfortunately I will know enemys position and tactics ... this could be something to improve in this fantastic game, randomize the initial positionig of enemy troops...
The best tip I could give to complete the campaign is to preserve strenght of core units at any cost, in order to preserve prestige points! I started the last scenario with 10569 pp. and were all necessary! I think that arriving in the USA scenarios with few pp. could be very dangerous.
Last suggestion, not to bo too hurried, the temptation to rush for decisive victory is high and .. dangerous, a good plan and combined arms will ( often ) bring to a decisive victory saving strenght and prestige points!
