Legacy supply camp.

Post by lawrenceg »

One of my DBM baggage camps is designed to be set up in a single line (240 mm x 40 mm). It would not look very good in two rows as a 120 mm x 80 mm. Any chance that the camp size specification could be loosened to "an area of 9600 square mm" ? If not, it would be easy enough to work around it, but not as aesthetically pleasing and possibly inconvenient in certain game situations.

I would suggest it be 3x2 base width or 6x1 with the long edge touching the table edge.
There is potentially an issue with fortified camps that are excessively long.

There is no need to restrict the position of the camp to the rear edge. This is a DBM hold over from the period when people were using exotic baggage formations to avoid getting the baggage sacked. Now AoW defines the camp as one piece there is no need to restrict its posiiton. If players want to place it in the front line let them. We might even get some interesting games based around attacks on camps.
