what do szeklers look like?

I'm interested in doing Bethlen Gabor's army for early TYW. Am wondering what armoured and unarmoured szeklers are supposed to look like.

I haven't seen the FoG(R) lists but intuitively "armoured" szeklers sounds wrong. The szeklers are the Székely (say - care - eee) people of Transylvania. Of course Hungarians don't use "Transylvania" (a Latin word); they call the area Erdély (air-day-eee).

I can send you a PDF scan of a colour picture of a 16/17th century unarmoured "lancer from Erdély" from a Hungarian book on cavalry, if you send me a private message with your email (I don't know how to upload PDFs to the forum).

Z

Do they count as Hungarians, as they live there, have Hungarian wives, arrived there on a Hingarian boat, have Hungarian passports... sorry wrong forum.

In case you were not aware, Armoured in Fo0GR is the equivalent of Protected in FoG:AM. Does that make more sense?
