Version 1.7.2 Changes
--------------------------
Change: Map editor: Instead of unit folders being grouped by 'Army Book', they are now grouped by a new 'Top Level Categories' of Ancient, Medieval and Other.
Change: Owners on at least one D.A.G. can now edit scenario's with access to all the 1,330 different unit images
Add: Over 60 new battlegroup formations to the scenario editor.
Add: New Viking(15) images to the scenario editor.
Add: New Feudal-Mounted(15) images to the scenario editor.
Add: New Arab-Crusades image to the scenario editor.
Add: New Feudal-Foot(2) image images to the scenario editor.
Add: New egyptian-ancient(5) images to the scenario editor.
Add: New Libyan image to the scenario editor.
Add: New Medieval-Foot-Other image to the scenario editor.
Fix: In the game 'Kosovo 1389AD', the sides had the wrong home map edges..
Fix: Some feudal LF were appearing as MF in the scenario editor.
Fix: Italian wording.
Fix: Fix: If the first unit blueprint in an army spec was Poor, an OutOfBoundsException would occur when the AI was trying to choose its army.
Fix: All reported D.A.G list errors.

Version 1.7.1 Changes

Add: The game now includes the Decline and Fall keys so existing users need only use their key manager to upgrade to Decline and Fall after a purchase of D&F.

Fix: Data error in Ottoman MF crossbowmen in the scenario editor causing a crash.
Fix: Text message error when shooting at unprotected cavalry who are not lancers.
Fix: Some Romans in the Thracian Client Kingdom list should have been alternative rather than additional troop options..Fix: The artillery sounds were incorrect in the Morat 1476AD scenario.
Fix: The year of the battle was missing from the Second Battle of St.Albans scenario data.
Fix: Error in shooting documentation for War Wagons.
Fix: Many references to 'Later Serbian' were named 'Middle Serbian' in 'Eternal Empire'.
Fix: The dates for some 'Eternal Empire' lists were incorrect.
Fix: Removed an allocation error when adding a fortified camp to a Pyrrhic army in Rise of Rome.
Fix: Removed some incorrect compulsory limitations in the Medieval Burgundian list in Storm of Arrows.
Fix: Added the option for the compulsory MF in the Lydian list in Immortal Fire to also be LF.
Fix: A multi-player random battle map reference was missing.
Change: All Decline and Fall unit graphics complete e.g. correct size, shadows etc.
Change: Updated the help documentation for Swords and Scimitars themed armies.
Change: The Later Hungarian list or Later Hungarian allies no longer have compulsory foot.
Change: Increased the allowed Later Ottomoman field defences from 5 to 10.
Change: Updated the 'English' on-lien and in-game help to version 1.6.2 (the pdf manual, German and Italian manuals have not been updated.
Change: Renamed all the 'Early Persian' armies in 'Immortal Fire' with more appropriate titles.
Change: Kurdish cavalry in the Swords & Scimitars Ilkhanid list no longer have bows.
Change: Allied Armenian armoured cavalry in Legions Triumphant are now cavalry and not as light horse.
Change: Changed the armour setting of the Condotta mounted crossbow to unprotected in Storm of Arrows.
Change: Renamed the three Kyrenean Greek lists in Immortal Fire.
Change: Armoured spearmen are now an upgrade rather than available as additional troops in Latin Greek lists in Swords and Scimitars.


Version 1.6.1 Changes
--------------------------
Add: Add a new english substitution for missing non-english words. This was causing a message of dupicate generals in some armies.
Change: The adjectival forms of side names are now shown in the unit and building mouse over boxes (instead of the noun forms).
Fix: UI: When certain less common hexside terrain types, e.g. ford, were placed at the very edge of the map, an OutOfBounds exception would occur when playing the scenario.
Fix: AI: In army generator games where the computer lost the initiative, it would not move its main battlegroups on the first turn.
Removed a zero byte file that was preventing patches from being extracted by the updater.
Fix: All reported army list errors in the Field of Glory forum.
Fix: Two battles included and unique to Eternal Empire were not loading. All EE battles should no load correctly. See Help and then Battle List for a complete list of all Field of Glory battles.


Version 1.6.0 Changes

In preparation of the launch of Eternal Empire next week, Slitherine & HexWar are delighted to announce the 1.6.0 update is now available via the in game updater. Just click the check for updates button from the main menu inside the game. A full stand alone installer is also available. You will need to update to 1.6.0 to continue playing multiplayer.

• Variable Army Sizes. The number of battle groups available to a D.A.G. army now changes depending on the number of points selected.
• Themed Armies; Where a player owns more than one different D.A.G. license, when issuing and accepting challenges for a specific D.A.G, armies from D.A.G’s that cross over into the period covered are also available. See the in game help for more details.
• Allied armies included in Eternal Empires have been added to existing D.A.G.’s e.g. Ilkhanid Mongols in Swords and Scimitars are now allowed ‘Golden Horde’ allies from the Eternal Empires D.A.G.
• 20 new small random battle maps for D.A.G. games.
• Rules for rear ranks of cavalry with missile weapons for newer D.A.G. Armies and for use in the scenario editor.
• Immobile battle group/baggage wagon rules for existing historical battles and the scenario editor. See the help system for more details.
• Complete battle list for each game supplement as part of the help system.


Version 1.5.6 Changes

Fix: UI: The text that is displayed in the multiplayer 'accept a challenge' tab when there are no challenges was shown as a constant name instead of a constant value.
Fix: Missing file errors when the user had their language set to Spanish or French.
Fix: Incorrect translated field values in Army Generator when the user had their language set to Spanish or French.

Does any one else find that post this patch unit descriptions in LTR are now in Italian?

Keyboard is set to English. Pardon my ignorance but how do I do a screenshot? In any event, game showing this is currently in progress with frankpowerful (800 pt Tencteri v Dominate Romans)

Keith, I had the same issue under 1.56 when an opponent , who I am guessing has the Italian version, accepted my MP challenge. The dag army names, BG's names etc were all in Italian. I posted this some time ago in the tech area.

i would propose to use Latin and Urgermanisch instead :wink:

If a challenge is started in Italian or German some of the unit name data on the receiving PC, even if english is appearing in Italian or German.
This has been identified as an issue and will be addressed but not in time for the 1.6.1 patch.

V1.7.0 is now available via the auto updater. An installer vgersion will be comign soon.
