If I were to order the game from your site, would I have a similar problem? If not, please tell me the details

You can order direct from us through www.slitherine.com/sol . We've not had any problems like this reported and have sold many games via digital download so I see no reason why it woudl not work! We actually make a lot more money if you buy direct than if you buy from someone else
