Premature Victory in Norway

Post by RARG »

I am playing my first campaign in PC. In the Norway scenario, I won a marginal victory without the conquest of the last objective (the city at the north of the map), before the last turn. It was intriguing. I guess it is a bug.

It's the objective for a marginal victory.

For a decisive victory you need to capture all cities within a certain number of turns. For a marginal one you either capture them all (but not within the limit set for decivise) or all cities except for Namsos (which is the one up north) when all turns are over.

Check the objectives before you start a mission :)

Actually i commented on this some time ago, and one of the developers explained that this scenario has an explicitly unique V condition in that the scenario ends if you have a minor victory already but is imposible to get a major.

Most scenarios would require one to complete all the turns (and give the enmy a chance to counterattck etc...)

Thanks! PC is not a remake of Panzer General. There are some new lessons to learn:)
