1.5.8 Later Polish (later)

Post by batesmotel »

According to the TT list you should be bale to have a mix of BGs of Feudal Nobles and Feudal Nobles&Strzeltcy. At the moment this seems to be impossible other than buying commanders as the alternate type. The behavior of the selectors for the Feudal Nobles and Feudal Nobles&Strzelcy is also rather unintuitive since it flips all the selected BGs from one to the other as soon as you try to increment the number of the other type, except for any BGs associated with commanders.

The TT list also restricts separately deployed Strzelcy to not exceed the number of Feudal Nobles and Feudal Nobles&Strzelcy which does not appear to be implemented at all in the list.

Lancer Banners are required to be 2 with cavalry for every 1 with knights. There is no such restriction in the TT list. Lancer banners with knights should also include crossbow cavalry as the lancer cavalry banners do.

There should also be an overall limit of 24 for all of these categories (plus volley banners) combined.

Chris,

It is very unlikely that the number in EE will be modified. The tabletop Later Polish list is among the most complex in FOG. The combinations are, in their own way unique, mixing cavalry with knights in the same BG for example. The DAG logic supports a lot of combinations such as and, or, all or none etc., but it cannot replicate the Later Polish list exactly. It is not very likely that we will change the DAG functionality to support the quirks of one army list.

I'll look at the exact numbers again before beta 1.3.9.

Sorry and thanks
Keith
