Italian surrender?

Post by Schnurri »

I've taken Tunis, and both ports in Sicily by June 40 - shouldn't the Italians surrender? Or, did I miss a change that the surrender is tied to a date or invalidated if the Allies declare war?

Not 100% sure on this but Tunis might count only after US joins.

EDIT: this old thread sheds some light on the issue.

Thanks...sigh...should have read. Now have to hold Sicily against Germany and Italy and defend against Sea Lion. Rule makes sense though - I just wanted to test if I could knock Italy out and it has already been dealt with. Now, to take another city.
