How to change ingame Music

Post by Ragabhava »

I'm very happy with the game; thanks so much!

Now...I've tried to exchange the three mp3's ("ingame1.mp3" to "ingame3.mp3") in the music folder with some music of my own choosing (renamed to "ingame1.mp3" etc.) yet the game crashes. Is it the conversion rate ? The internal decoder ? Listening to the same three tracks for hours on end gets boring, please help me out.

Why not adding simple play list editor for the user ?

I would expect the game to play mp3 in any bitrate, but it depends on the codecs installed on your system too - the game does not include its own codecs, it uses what exists on your PC.

I think, the easiest solution for you is just to play the playlist you want in the Windows Media PLayer while you are playing the game. We could spend efforts required to implement a media player inside the game on more interesting features. ;)

And/or turn the music down/off in the game options.

Indeed! I didn't expect the game to allow another app to share audio playback, issue solved!
