Playing now!!

Post by jdm »

One of the great joys of being on the business end of Slitherine and Matrix games is that I have no input into the creative or technical aspects of our games. However I have been wargaming and playing these games for around 40 years, so I have some experience.

So when the games come out it’s always a bit of a surprise and a treat for me. Iain loaded the game onto my machine before he packed up work on Friday evening but I was working this morning so only got to the game after lunch time.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!! I am so proud to be part of this albeit abstractly, it’s a joy to play and so slick. I just can’t put it down, but I am so enthralled needed to tell someone :-)

So, sorry I have some tutorials to complete and an invasion to launch before I go to bed. It’s going to be a long night!!

Hope to see some of you on line shortly

Best Wishes

Thanks JD, coming from you and knowing you as a dead honest man and a true veteran gamer. If it was crap you would have told us as well. Happy to see you get hooked, maybe you will forgive me now not making a deadline (I know that change is zero! LOL). :D

Cheers,

I'm like you. When I play a game that turns me on I always want to share my enthusiasm with others. It's been a good 15 years without those PG games in my library. No turn based game, not even civilization, has managed to do for me what PG did for me back in the day.

I just want to move those pieces across the board. Rock, paper, scissors, has never been so much fun. Honestly, I was skeptical of this game when I first heard about it in December, but it really sounds like these guys pulled it off.
