Editor on release?

Post by TheGrayMouser »

Quick question: Will a map/scenario editor be available on release? (posts from way back indicated it might not make it into the initial)

Cheers!

Nice, I consider an included editor a perk, as it means people provide me with additional content (sorry doing the editor thing was never my bag, but I like that it is for others).

Is there a campaign editor as well or only scenario?
Really looking forward to using the editor. Awesome addition to the game.

For now is only scenario.
But they want to extend it. However you can incorporate the scenario that you've created in the existing campaigns.

Campaign structure in PzC is 100% moddable in 1.0. You can alter existing campaigns, and you can create new ones. The only thing which is not available is a specialized GUI editor for campaigns, you need to alter the campaign data file (for example in Notepad or in MS Excel). But this is how we created our own campaign, and from experience I can tell that there is nothing difficult about it. ;)

That's what I meant. But your explanation is better. :)

Awesome! That's good enough for me.

Why is the clock moving so slow? Come on Monday!
